UP SLIS congratulates our BLIS student Ces Buenavista for succesfully presenting her research entitled '"I was wrong": Changing political landscapes and the editing of the online self' at the Student Symposium of iConference 2021. This research was supervised by Prof. Benedict Salazar Olgado.
The iConference is an annual gathering of scholars and researchers organised by the iSchools, of which UP SLIS is a member. The conference explores "critical information issues in contemporary society" and "pushes the boundaries of information studies", a sentiment echoed by the School as we approach our anniversary this July and celebrate 60 years of "Challenging Traditions, Embracing Innovations".
